County Limerick Youth Theatre would like to invite applications for the role of Artistic Director. Established in 1996 the County Limerick Youth Theatre is based in the Honeyfitz Theatre, Lough Gur. The youth theatre caters to young people from the surrounding areas of Lough Gur, Croom, Bruff and Kilmallock aged 8-18. We have a yearlong programme of weekly workshops, drama camps and regular productions. We are looking for  an enthusiastic artistic director to lead the membership in their activities, who is organised, creative and excited by the possibility of making work with young people. The successful applicant will deliver a programme over an average of 30 hours per month as a self-employed contractor working closely with the Board of Directors and Administrator. The successful applicant will be offered an initial 1-year contract to be reviewed at 3 months and 6months. This will lead to a rolling contract from one to three years.
